Photoshop pic quality for the net?

I was messing around with a picture in photoshop and now want to put it on the internet. It looks great on photoshop itself, but once i upload it, it looks kinda fuzzy and sortof--gritty, i guess.

I think its because of the high image quality setting, but i dont want to put it on low because it just looks bad even on photoshop like that, so i would think the results would be even worse on the net.

Ive seen tons of awesome looking photos that arent fuzzy at all, but mine arent like that.

Does anyone know how what i should put the settings on, in the jpeg options box? (thats if anyone is familiar with photoshop)

Photoshop pic quality for the net?virus scan

when about to save

hold ctrl alt shift and press s

this will lead to jpeg saving mode

then on the right panel there is a saving criteria

make sure the blue and quality isnt that low

eg 20%

Experiment with the Save For Web(File =%26gt; Save For Web) settings. I recommend the JPEG Medium preset.
